Evaluating each of the 5 Cs of credit to determine the creditworthiness of business borrowers as regard their character, capital, capacity, collateral, and condition.

Evaluating company’s operating and investing cash flow and their cycles to identify working capital funding gap and assess the payback time on an investment and its ROI.

Analysing financial information by using lending ratios to assess a company’s profitability, efficiency, liquidity, coverage, leverage, and perform industry benchmark.

Evaluating loan security by identifying the best types of assets to use for security, assessing their quality through Marketable, Ascertainable, Stable, and Transferable.

Identifying loan covenants, monitor them, and evaluate company performance relative to the covenants by comparing credit metrics to the covenants, then report the covenants.

Ensuring that credit administration and documentation are effective in supporting the credit process from application to agreement, then monitor borrower after loan approval.

Pricing loan based on client’s rating risk, credit spread, loan given default, bank’s cost of fund, and determine the risk adjusted return on capital to generate profitability.

Monitoring loan accounts by predicting defaults and identifying warning signs of potential credit problems, dealing with the problems; then considering restructuring or liquidation; finally using recovery and turnaround strategies.

Completing a credit application filled with all borrower’s details and combine the 5 Cs of credit to evaluate company, present the analysis and make recommendations.
